Sharron was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ann Krasnicka Castronovo.  She was predeceased by her sister Barbara Potolicchio and her brother-in-law Joseph Potolicchio.

Sharron was raised in Greenwich, attending Greenwich Public Schools, and graduated from Greenwich High School in 1962. She went on to receive her Licensed Practical Nurse’s degree, which lead her to a career at Greenwich Hospital, where she cared for her patients with love and compassion. After retiring from nursing, Sharron volunteered at Norwalk Community College teaching English as a second language.

Sharron is survived by her loving husband, Ronald J. Restivo; her niece, Dina O’Neil (John); her nephew Bradley Potolicchio (Caitlyn); and her grandniece Lindsay O’Neil and grandnephews Joseph O’Neil and Henry Potolicchio.  She is also survived by three stepchildren, Kimberly Lange (John), Tricia Callahan (Jeff), and Mark Restivo (Debra), step-grandchildren Alyssa and Sean Callahan; her special aunt, Eleanor Orrico; and many cousins. She will be deeply missed by her “forever friend” Del Hatch.

Sharron’s friends have remembered her well, saying, “you truly were a shining star,” “a beautiful classy lady,” “heartbreaking news,” “she was full of grace and compassion,” “everyone’s lives were enriched by knowing Sharron,” “what a beautiful spirit,” and “my heart is broken.”
