Greenwich Library welcomes acclaimed voice actor Alan Sklar who will perform a dramatic reading of Truman Capote’s Jug of Silver on Thursday, May 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room.
Jug of Silver is a poignant short story about an underprivileged boy who is determined to guess the amount of money in and thereby win a jug of silver coins so that he can do something very special for his sister. Small town characters and life are vividly detailed by Capote and brought to life by the talented Alan Sklar.
