Steven Fox Jewelry will host an outside pop up cafe with complimentary brick oven pizza served by New Haven Pizza truck on Saturday, May 6, to benefit Kids in Crisis.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in front of the store’s location at 8 Lewis St. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about Cos Cob-based Kids in Crisis, Connecticut’s only free, round-the-clock agency providing emergency shelter, crisis counseling and community educational programs for children of all ages and families dealing with a wide range of crises – domestic violence, mental health and family problems, substance abuse, economic difficulties and more. After the event, the truck will head to Kids in Crisis, where children in residence will enjoy some pizza.
A new addition to the event is a giveaway of a Pomellato jewelry item, valued at over $6,000. Pomellato is a high-end brand offering innovative jewelry. Attendees who make a donation will have the opportunity to answer a Kids in Crisis trivia question. The person who guesses the closest to the correct answer will win the jewelry prize. All funds raised will be given to Kids in Crisis.
“We are truly grateful to be partnering with Steven Fox Jewelry for another fantastic event right here in Greenwich. The Steven Fox Jewelry pizza truck day is a great opportunity for members of the community to learn more about the work at Kids in Crisis in a lively and fun atmosphere, and we encourage everyone to come out and support our children,” said Shari Shapiro, Executive Director of Kids in Crisis.
