newlebfunding-3-31

New Lebanon is hosting a Curriculum Night Wednesday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m. Families will work together to design creative solutions to real world problems. Parents will learn how the inquiry cycle drives discovery, innovation, collaboration, and deep understanding of concepts. Together they will be able to create solutions with everyday materials.

Curriculum Nights are designed to provide parents with an understanding of how students are learning in school, ways to interact with their children at home to support their learning, and to build a stronger partnership between parents and teachers. During these events, parents will learn different ways in which they can engage in meaningful learning activities with their children at home. Curriculum Nights for 2016-2017 have been planned to focus on topics including: literacy, math, writing, diversity and digital learning.

There will be a Dinner & Presentation from 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the Family Discovery Activities from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

New Lebanon School is located at 25 Mead Ave. For more information and to confirm attendance, please contact Principal Barbara Riccio at barbara_riccio@greenwich.k12.ct.us or 203-531-9139.
