Christopher T. Pickering, of Cos Cob, passed away on March 26.
He was born Feb. 22, 1939 in Deer Isle, Me., to the late Carl W. and Marie Pickering. Christopher graduated Woodrow Wilson (Middletown) High School in 1957 and served in the U.S. Air Force. During his career, he worked for Chemical Bank of New York and Bank of New York (Mellon).
He was the beloved husband of Sandy (Tsao). He is survived by his loving sons Calvin Chi, Sean Chi, and George C. Pickering; and his cherished grandson, Justin Pickering.
Christopher is also survived by his dear brothers Emery W. Pickering (Barbara Story) of Austin, Tex., and Stephen T. Pickering (Melinda) of Denver, Colo. He was predeceased by his brother Wyvern M. Pickering (Lola) of Rockville, Md.
To honor his life a service was held on Saturday, April 1, at Diamond Hill United Methodist Church, in Cos Cob; after the service he was interred at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Greenwich.
