The 4th Annual ONSF Lab and Clinical Instruction Collaboration with Norwalk Community College took place on March 30 and 31 and will take place again on April 20 and 21.
The course is designed exclusively for NCC the physical therapy students’ Kinesiology class and will take place at the ONSF Arthroscopy, Surgical Skills and Biomechanical Research Laboratory in Greenwich. The program is titled “Observation of Upper and Lower Extremity Dissection with Clinical Instruction.” Approximately 19 students had the unique opportunity to observe and engage in dissections in addition to receiving clinical instruction. Marc Rowalsky, MD and other surgeons mentored the students.
Education is a vital component of the ONSF mission and plays an integral role in our efforts to improve the care and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. The course presents a valuable learning experience to the students at no cost.
