Whim ‘n Rhythm

Whim ‘n Rhythm, Yale’s renowned seniors-only women’s a cappella group will perform in the Greenwich Library Cole Auditorium at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 9.

In 1981, Yale’s vibrant a cappella scene featured a dozen underclassman groups of every variety. However, seven senior women felt that a key part of their musical experience was missing – a senior group. These seven seniors founded Whim ‘n Rhythm – the women’s counterpart to the senior men’s group, the Whiffenpoofs. Thirty-four years later, the 14 singers of Whim ‘n Rhythm represent the best and most experienced female musicians of the senior class. Visit whimnrhythm.com.
