Greenwich Community Gardens Screens ‘Seed’

Greenwich Community Gardens invites the community to a special screening of Seed: The Untold Story, an important film with a story that a affects us all, on Tuesday, March 28, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Performing Arts Center
at Greenwich Country Day School, 401 Old Church Rd.

The schedule is as follows:
6 p.m. Refreshments, reception & book signing with special guest, Will Bonsall
6:45 Introduction & film screening
8:15 Will Bonsall with Steve Conaway, Moderator, Conservation & Outreach Director for Greenwich Land Trust, for a discussion of the film and Q&A

Will Bonsall has operated a
successful sustainable farm in Maine
for over forty years.
Because of a grave concern for the future of agriculture, Bonsall founded the Scatterseed Project in order to preserve the genetic diversity of crops. When Bonsall isn’t busy farming, he gives talks on sustainability and vegan gardening, and has written various articles on farming, as well as two books, The Yaro Tales – Through the Eyes
of a Stranger, and Will Bonsall’s Essential Guide to Radical, Self-Reliant Gardening.
