The Greenwich Police Department is conducting a full investigation into the untimely passing of Kenneth Wood-Cahusac, as the Greenwich resident’s body was found yesterday evening.

Thursday night, the GPD was continuing its investigation into the disappearance of the 61-year-old male. While at Carry Road around 6 p.m., officers noticed a body under the ice along the eastern shoreline of the Mianus River.

In a statement, Lt. Craig Gray said the body was located in the shallows near a small private boat dock.

The GPD Dive Team, along with an investigator from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, retrieved the body, which was later identified as Wood-Cahusac.

On Tuesday, Greenwich Police issued a missing person report on Wood-Cahusac, who was last seen Monday at 8:30 p.m. walking up and down his Riverside neighborhood.
