On Thursday, Jan. 12, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., the Junior League of Greenwich will be hosting an open house at its headquarters, at 231 E Putnam Ave., for prospective new members to learn more about our organization, meet current members and find out how to join.
Over the Junior League of Greenwich’s fifty-seven year history in town, the organization has impacted the community in significant ways with various projects and programs. But more than just reaching out to areas of need in the community, the Junior League of Greenwich provides opportunities for women to develop skills that will allow them to be effective volunteers. Membership includes executives, community leaders, entrepreneurs, mothers, and professionals. They welcome all women who are at least 21 years of age and interested in making a positive impact in the community. By joining the Junior League of Greenwich, members have opportunities to develop their leadership potential, obtain valuable skills, and utilize personal development training while serving the needs of the Greenwich community.
The Junior League of Greenwich’s New Member class will begin Tuesday, Jan. 17.
