The 3rd Annual Greenwich Restaurant Week begins on Nov. 11. Local restaurants have the opportunity to participate and offer special deals and promotions throughout the 10-day celebration.
The festivities for this annual foodie event kick off on Nov. 10 with an exclusive Opening Night Cocktail Party at The J House. Tickets must be purchased in advance and a portion of the proceeds from tickets sales will benefit The Transportation Association of Greenwich (TAG), an organization geared towards providing transportation services for elderly individuals and the disadvantaged of all ages.
Starting Friday, Nov. 11, diners can chart a course for a 10-day tasting tour of more than 20 restaurants throughout Greenwich. Top chefs will be rolling out the red carpet with prix-fix lunch and dinner menus, and diners will be reaping the spoils of special wine flights, signature drinks, desserts, and other enticements.
Participating restaurants and locations including specials for the week include Ada’s Kitchen & Coffee, Applausi Osteria, Aux Delices, Back 40 Kitchen, Blackstones Steakhouse, Bella Nonna, Bistro V, Coast, Char, Eastend, Elm Street Oyster House, Famous Greek Kitchen, Gabriele’s Italian Steakhouse, The Ginger Man, The Granola Bar, Harvest, The J house Restaurant, L’escale, Le Fat Poodle, Le Penguin, Little Pub, Lugano, Mediterraneo, Méli-Mélo, The National, Old Greenwich Social Club, The Perfect Provenance/Café 47, Polpo, Terra, Winfield’s at the Hyatt and WUJI. Restaurants around the corner like Fortina, Tarry Lodge and tredici NORTH are also offering specials. Many of the restaurants will be featuring prix-fix menus that end in $.16 to celebrate the year.
