On Aug. 8, l’escale and the Delamar Greenwich Harbor hosted Moffly Media’s 7th Annual Best of Greenwich event. Attendees experienced the best that Greenwich has to offer with fun cocktails, delicious hors d’oeuvres and live music.
The Best of Greenwich winners were voted by the readers of Moffly Media’s own Greenwich Magazine. The complete list of winners can be found in Greenwich Magazine’s July issue. A portion of the proceeds from this event benefitted The Junior League of Greenwich.
The Junior League of Greenwich is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through effective action and leadership of volunteers.
“Seeing the pages of our magazine come to life at our Best of Greenwich party is so special,” says Cristin Marandino, the magazine’s editor. “Greenwich is a unique town and it’s very meaningful to us to be able to celebrate all of the people and businesses that make it the best place to live.”
The Best of Greenwich was sponsored by New Country Porsche of Greenwich, Manfredi Jewels, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sotheby’s International Realty, Wadia Associates, Castaways Yacht Club, Greenwich Medical Spa, Chopard, PURE LEAF Tea House Collection, and Abbey Tent & Party Rental.
“The Best of Greenwich truly outdid itself in celebrating this great town – fantastic food and cocktails, proud sponsors, a record-breaking attendance of 600, and strong charity being with the Junior League of Greenwich. And all on one of the most beautiful evenings of the year by the water at the Delamar. We couldn’t ask for more positivity,” said Trish Kirsch, Publisher at Greenwich Magazine.
Live music and entertainment were provided throughout the night by Nanny Assis Brazilian Duo and Adrian Clarke’s Pan Occasions Calypso Music.
The Best of Greenwich featured samplings and tastings from a variety of winners including Aux Delices, Citarella, Elm Street Oyster Bar, Di Mare Pastry, Famous Greek Kitchen, Fjord Fish Market, l’escale, Le Penguin, Le Fat Poodle, Little Pub, Meli Melo, Melt Mobile, Polpo, Watson’s Catering and many more. Liquor and refreshments were provided by Absolut Elyx, Keel Vodka, Val’s Putnam Wines & Liquors, and Wine Wise.
