JCC Greenwich will be hosting a sneak preview of Indignation, a major motion picture starring Logan Lerman and Sarah Gadon on Tuesday, July 12 at 7 p.m. at Bow Tie Cinemas. The film opens in New York City theaters on July 29.

Written and directed by James Schamus (The Ice Storm), based on Philip Roth’s late novel, Indignation takes place in 1951, as Marcus Messner (Logan Lerman), a brilliant working class Jewish boy from Newark, N.J., travels on scholarship to a small, conservative college in Ohio, thus exempting him from being drafted into the Korean War. But once there, Marcus’s growing infatuation with his beautiful classmate Olivia Hutton (Sarah Gadon), and his clashes with the college’s imposing Dean, Hawes Caudwell (Tracy Letts), put his and his family’s best laid plans to the ultimate test.

Also starring Linda Emond, Danny Burstein and Ben Rosenfield.

Tickets are $12, and available exclusively at jccgreenwich.org. Indignation will be shown at Bow Tie Criterion Cinemas, 2 Railroad Avenue.
