On May 21, fifth graders at North Mianus School had fun washing cars at the school parking lot, raising funds for their legacy gift. Every year, students sell tickets in advance and then prepare for a fun filled morning getting wet and washing cars in the school pick up line.
The highlight of the morning was the fire truck that required all volunteers to work extra hard. Parents organizing the event supported the children throughout the morning and were very satisfied with the funds raised – these will be used to buy a legacy gift to the school from the class of 2016.
