The Tree Conservancy received a sponsorship check for its sixth annual Tree Party celebration from the Bank of America in Greenwich. “Preserving our natural environment is key to building healthy, happy communities,” said Bill Tommins, Bank of America Southern Connecticut Market President. “Greenwich Tree Conservancy has done an excellent job in educating our citizens and businesses on the significance of preserving our environment, and we are happy to celebrate their success this year.”
This year, the Tree Conservancy held its annual party on April 29 at McArdle’s Greenhouse. The theme of this year’s celebration of trees was “In Honor of Trees and Those who help us Grow.”
