

The Sacred Heart Greenwich tennis team went indoors during Wednesday’s match against St. Luke’s. However the change of venue didn’t matter, as the Tigers dominated and came away with the 7-0 victory at Four Seasons in Wilton.
In singles, the Tigers had a powerful performance. At No. 1 singles, Sam Falcon took care of Cameron Stonehouse (6-1, 6-2), while at No. 2 singles Madison Miles made quick work of Cayley Stonehouse 6-1, 6-1.
Not to be outdone was Jackie Beshoory at No. 3 singles, as she defeated Caroline Nevin 6-4, 6-1. Rounding out the singles competition was Sacred Heart’s Nathalie Perreault, who finished off Maddie Harris 6-4, 6-1.
In doubles, Sacred Heart swept all three matches on the day. Leading the way was the No. 1 doubles team of Brooke Wilkens and Stephanie Beshoory, as they defeated Cierra Kitt and Hannah Amendola 6-3, 6-3. Keeping the good times rolling was Juliette Guice and Kensi Almeida at No. 2 doubles, as they won a hard-fought match with Virginia Mahoney and Emma Treqellas 7-6(2), 6-4.
Rounding out the scoring for the Tigers were the duo of Ally Schwarz and Megan Farrell, who were victorious over Clare Armstrong and Grace Fitzgibbon 6-1, 6-4.
With the victory, Sacred Heart Greenwich moves to a perfect 10-0 on the season.
