Police say they have identified the suspected driver of the car that killed 43-year-old Greenwich resident Edward Setterberg on April 17, and anticipate applying for an arrest warrant “in the near future.”
The driver fled the scene of the collision, at the intersection of the Post Road and Hillside Road, in a Mercedes-Benz, which police have recovered. Setterberg had been out walking that night; an off-duty police officer found his body in the roadway.
The investigation is ongoing and progressing, police said, adding that they have consulted with the State’s Attorney’s office in Stamford.
