On April 6, the Stamford Marriott ballroom overflowed with 525 supporters of the annual Spring Luncheon benefiting Planned Parenthood of Southern New England. In attendance among community and religious leaders from across Fairfield County were U.S. Representatives Jim Himes and Rosa DeLauro.

Comedian Jane Condon served as emcee; the magnetic speaker was Dahlia Lithwick, U.S. Supreme Court correspondent for Slate. Longtime advocate Marie-France Kern received the Community Impact Award, and RN Allison Lomas, the Everyday Hero Award for her dedicated work at the Stamford Health Center.

Co-chairing the event, which raised over $525,000, were Greenwich residents Erica Buchsbaum, Julie Church, Danielle Eason, Mary Shaw Halsey Marks, Donna Moffly and Sheila Mossman. The luncheon raised some $550,000 for PPSNE, which serves 72,000 patients in Connecticut and Rhode Island.
