In its home opener, the Greenwich High School softball team fell to Brookfield High School 10-6 earlier today.
Leading the way for Big Red was Sophia Prieto. On the mound she finished with four strikeouts and five walks. At the plate, Prieto was lights out, going 4-for-4 with two singles and two doubles.
Julia Greco and Julie Gambino pitched in by going 2-for-4, while Dominique Gambino and Emma Beinstein each had one hit.
