Whitby-Photo-ExhibitWhitby grade six students hosted a student photo on March 16 at Le Pain Quotidien on Greenwich Avenue. The photo exhibit showcased student-taken photos about social issues in the community. The popular event was open to the Whitby community as well as the general public.

Through their unit in “Individuals and Societies” class, students developed a deeper understanding of ethics, fairness, and development, and exploring how they can be agents of change. They learned how people can show agency, how ethics are linked to development, and where this meaning comes from. They also explored whether it is possible to create a change that is fair for everyone.
