Born Audrey June Hoffman on Oct. 26, 1927 in Port Chester, she was known from childhood as “Chickie” to her many friends and relatives.

She particularly enjoyed playing golf, and was a regular member of the Bruce Memorial Golf Course Women’s Club for many years.

Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Jerome “Jerry” Kohler, her parents, Leslie E. Hoffman and Gertrude Claes Hoffman, and her brothers, Herbert and Leslie Hoffman Jr. She is survived by her sons Donald (Sandra) Kohler of Greenwich and Jeffrey Kohler of Hudson, Fla.

Her family extends its sincerest thanks to the caring staffs of Greenwich Hospital and Calvary Hospital in the Bronx.

There will be no services or wake. The family asks that donations be made in Audrey’s memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
