With perfect make-up, coiffed hair styles, beautiful accessories and extraordinarily exquisite clothing, grades 9, 10 and 11 Stanwich School students strutted up the runway at their “Fashion for Change” fashion show on Jan. 22. The show was a fund-raiser for “Project Blessing,” the school’s long-term project in a rural Rwandan community, focused on the construction of a school, and creation of a water and irrigation system for the community.

Stanwich students create, organize and implement school-wide fundraising opportunities throughout the year in support of “Project Blessing.” Every summer, Stanwich students and alumni travel to Rwanda to aid in the construction and implementation of these plans. The event raised $2,270.

Clothing and accessories were provided by Winged Monkey of Westport and Vineyard Vines. Hair was styled by Do’s: A Playground for Hair by Christopher Noland.
