“Family Winter Wonderland”

February 14 @ 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

This fun family event, celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Lewis Carol classic, Alice in Wonderland. During the winter months we experience nature through the doors & windows of our imagination. Have you ever heard the “nursery version” of Lewis Carol’s tales? Come try Flamingo Croquet, Life Size Chess & Throw Alice Down the Rabbit Hole. Paint paper roses red and try a delicious Mad-Hatter rose hip tea. Come dressed as your favorite character and meet a special guest – the Red Queen.

Two sessions:

  • 9 – 10 a.m. for children ages 1 to 3.
    MUST be accompanied by parents/caregivers.
  • 2 – 3 p.m. for children ages 3 to 8.

I Love Audubon Day

February 14 @ 11:30 am – 2:00 pm

Do you love the Greenwich Audubon? Get out and show this love at “I Love Audubon Day”.

Head to Audubon Greenwich for a tasty tribute to the National Audubon Society. They will have taste-testing stations of sustainably grown chocolates, assorted coffees, and a homemade bake sale of Valentine’s Day themed sweets. Participants receive a 10 percent discount on special earth friendly chocolates and coffees in the nature store. Activities will include a showing of a short film about Audubon, family nature hikes, and Valentine’s Day themed crafts. You won’t want to miss out on spending quality time with the ones (and organization) you love! Pre-registration is required with Susan at sematthews@audubon.org.

On Valentine’s Day, Dolka Morico, the artist whose art decorates the exposed brick wall at Bistro V, will be giving each couple dining Sunday night an original painting.

“Visual Voices” at Les Beaux Arts

“Visual Voices” Honors Black History Month. Randy Williams, a great chronicler of life, memories and dreams, will exhibit his works on paper at Les Beaux Arts Gallery in honor of Black History month. The exhibit will open on Sunday, February 7 – March 17, 2016. Williams will discuss his work at a gallery talk on Sunday, February 14 at 11:30 a.m.

Les Beaux Arts Gallery is located at the Round Hill Community Church, 395 Round Hill Road, Greenwich.
