After a pair of cancellations, the Brunswick School swimming and diving team got back to their winning ways, besting Masters 87-74 on Wednesday. The Bruins (6-2) placed swimmers first and second in every event during the road meet.

The team of Cole Pierce, Thacher Scannell, James Simone, and Will Powers won the 200-yard medley relay, breaking the school record in the process.

The quartet also earned individual accolades as each one captured gold in an additional event. Pierce won the 100-yard breaststroke, while Powers won the 50-yard freestyle. Simone earned the top spot in the 100-yard butterfly, as Scannell touched the wall first in the 200-yard Individual Medley.

Other individual winners included Keegan Drew in the 500-yard freestyle, Nico Apostolides in the 100-yard backstroke, and Farricker during the 200-yard freestyle.

Tomorrow poses a key challenge to the Bruins, as Suffield visits Mehra Natatorium for a 3 p.m. contest. Suffield was the runner-up at last season’s New England Championship.
