Chronic knee pain from arthritis, an old sports injury or other medical conditions, can limit your enjoyment of daily life. In the past, your options for non-operative treatment were limited to a variety of medications such as anti-inflammatories or more potent pain relievers, long periods of physical therapy, or injections such as cortisone shots or visco supplementation. Ultimately, if those forms of treatment failed, the only solution for lasting pain relief was a total knee replacement.

Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Demetris Delos of Orthopaedic & Neurosurgery Specialsts, (ONS) in Greenwich and Stamford, is a fellowship-trained physician who specializes in comprehensive knee and shoulder conditions and Sports Medicine. He will discuss the many causes of chronic knee pain and the latest treatments on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 6 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. To register, call 203-863-4277 or register online at greenwichhospital.org
