A second half rally came up short, as Brunswick lost an FAA road game to St. Luke’s on Friday, 63-57. The Bruins (4-8, 3-2) return to action on Saturday, January 23, as they face Salisbury in a non-league contest inside Dann Gym at 4:00 p.m.

Brunswick dug an early hole in the opening half against the top team in the FAA. The Storm (11-1, 6-0) built a commanding 41-20 lead at the break.

The Bruins rallied in the second half, closing the gap to single-digits, outscoring St. Luke’s by a 37-22 margin. Senior Nacho Nwana led the comeback bid, netting 17 of his team-high 24 in the second half.

In six FAA contests for St. Luke’s this season, the six-point win against the Bruins was the narrowest margin of victory for the Storm this season.
