
On Saturday, Dec. 19, explore the characters and emotions behind great operatic arias and songs sung in Italian, French, German, and English performed by soprano Caroline Worra and pianist Brian Garman. Ms. Worra has sung more than 75 different operatic roles, including 20 world, American, and regional premieres. She has worked with more than 30 opera companies across the U.S., including The Metropolitan Opera. Ms. Worra has a Doctor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Indiana University and teaches at The Stanwich School in Greenwich.
The concert takes place at 2 p.m., at the Byram Schubert Library, 21 Mead Avenue. The show is free, but reservations are required at CuriosityConcerts.org. Please, only reserve if you are certain to attend.
Curiosity Concerts is a series of free family concerts presented by professional musicians at different venues in the Greenwich area. Concerts are 50 minutes long and are designed to inspire parents as well as their children of any age.
