The annual Town of Greenwich tree lighting officially kicked off the holiday season on Friday afternoon.
“We’ve got Santa, Rudolph, and Frosty coming. It’s really a way to show spirit of the season and to get people excited about the holidays,” said Peter Tesei.
Children played draddle and went on reindeer rides outside of Town Hall. First Selectman Peter Tesei wants to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday.
“We pray for peace in the world. With all that’s going on in our country and overseas, this is certainly a time to be thankful and celebrate peace,” said Tesei.
