The New Blue, Yale’s first all-female a cappella group will perform in the Cole Auditorium on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. Founded in 1969, the same year that Yale first admitted undergraduate women, The New Blue is not only the oldest female a cappella group at Yale, but was also the very first women’s organization on campus.

This diverse group of women, brought together by a shared love of music, prides itself on a tradition of rich vocal tone, varied repertoire, and upbeat, professional performance. The New Blue’s repertoire is almost exclusively arranged by members. Visit newblueofyale.com.

The Peterson Concert Series is open to all at no charge. Doors open at 1:30 p.m., seating is limited. For more information email Music Librarian David Waring at dwaring@greenwichlibrary.org, call 203-622-7917 or visit greenwichlibrary.org/music.
