The Retired Men’s Association Of Greenwich, Inc. (RMA) will present Governor Dannel Malloy on “The View from the Governor’s Chair,” at its meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 2.

Now in his fifth year in office, Governor Malloy will discuss Connecticut’s progress and plans, including covering why the state is low on the totem pole of states in which to do business and where taxes may be gradually driving residents away.  His administration has directly faced issues of critical importance to the people of Connecticut, including   creating jobs, improving public education, stabilizing the state’s finances, making long-overdue investments in the state’s transportation infrastructure, and protecting the environment. Despite progress, much work is still to be done.

RMA meetings are free and open to the public; no reservations are required. Plan to arrive around 10:40 a.m. for the social break (coffee and cake), followed by speaker at 11 a.m. Meetings are held at the First Presbyterian Church in Greenwich. For additional information, contact info@greenwichrma.org
