
The Annual Holiday Craft Sale at First Congregational Church of Greenwich, offering handcrafted goods from Maine, will take place on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 22, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Offerings include handmade quilts, Christmas decorations and gifts, wooden toys, woven scarves, hand knitted sweaters, hats and gloves, pottery, homemade jams, maple syrup and more.
All proceeds benefit H.O.M.E. (Homeworkers Organized for More Employment), which is a craft co-operative working with the rural poor in Hancock County, Maine.
H.O.M.E.’s programs include the operation of a free health clinic, a soup kitchen, and food bank, homeless shelters, learning center with daycare, literacy and GED tutoring, and job and craft training.
