Stamford Young Artists Philharmonic (SYAP), founded by Riverside resident Salvatore Princiotti, will open its 56th concert season with a performance on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 4 p.m. at Westhill High School in Stamford.

Music Director and Cos Cob resident, Christian Capocaccia, will be opening the season with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2, op. 36, D major. “I am excited about the 56th concert season. I hope many people will come and see us as we enter a new beginning for SYAP” said Capocaccia

The 2015-2016 season marks a positive change for SYAP with a move to a new rehearsal venue at Westhill High School and the installation of Gregory Robbins to head up the Young People’s Symphony. The season ends with the orchestra’s first ever performance at Carnegie Hall on May 3, 2016.

General admission for the concert is $25 for adults and $20 for seniors. All students and music teachers are admitted free of charge. Westhill High School is at 125 Roxbury Road, Stamford.
