WESTMED Medical Group celebrated the opening of their newest Greenwich location on Monday morning.
“WESTMED values the relationship with Greenwich tremendously,” said Dr. Simeon Schwartz, President & CEO of WESTMED Medical Group. “We see this as a complimentary expansion of our practice not only in urgent care but in primary care, and in specialty services. We are very much concerned in making sure we are a valuable partner to Greenwich Hospital and this community in general.”
The 13,000-square-foot medical office located at 644 West Putnam Avenue is the second location in town. WESTMED’s first location in Greenwich is the former Putnam Gynecology and Obstetrics of Greenwich office and is located at 55 Holly Hill Lane, Suite 130
The ground floor of the West Putnam Avenue office is a walk-in urgent care center.
The second floor offers primary care, including internal medicine and pediatrics. Specialty services include cardiology, otolaryngology ( ear, nose and throat) with an audiologist, plastic surgery (consults only) and pulmonology.
Anthony Viceroy, CFO of WESTMED said “We see that great quality care can be in every single state quite frankly. Where we are located in Westchester, NY, the natural progression was into Connecticut and Greenwich is the first stop. We think it is a great community and we have a great relationship with the hospital and we are excited to be here.”
