Good food and drinks are on the menu once again for the 2nd Annual Greenwich Restaurant Week.

“Last year was such a success. The community really got behind it and seemed like there wasn’t any way we couldn’t have it again so we’re back!” said Jen Danzi, event organizer for Greenwich Restaurant Week.
Greenwich Restaurant Week will begin November 12th with a kick off event November 11th benefitting the Transportation Association of Greenwich (TAG). 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales for the kick event will go directly to TAG.
From November 12th – 18th the festivities will continue to take place at restaurants throughout town including L’escale, Polpo, Harvest, Terra, Mediterraneo, Le Peguin, Le Fat Poodle, Osteria Applausi, Lugano’s, Gabriele’s, Char, Famous Greek Kitchen, Firenze, Blackstones Steakhouse, Little Pub, Bella Noona, Caren’s Cos Cobber, Bobby Q’s, Coast, The Drawing Room, Elm Street Oyster House, Jhouse, Morello, Tengda, Mt. Kisco smokehouse, Greenwich Cheese Company, Bistro Versailles, Meli Melo and Winfield’s at the Hyatt.
Each place will be featuring different specials from prix fixe menus to truffle dishes to 1/2 off bottled wine.
“The restaurants get really creative. They do prix fixc menus to truffle menus and all different things. They don’t box themselves into doing one thing, they go out there and come up with great ideas to really give diners and great experience,”  said Danzi.
And participating restaurants say they are ready for new and hungry guests.
“We encourage our staff to suggest the most popular dishes in the house for people who come here for the first time,” said Vincente Siguenza, owner and manager of Harvest on Greenwich Avenue. “That could be our brussel sprouts for an appetizer or the Harvest burger which is very popular.”
