The Bruce Museum’s annual family benefit will celebrate the museum’s current science exhibition “Madagascar: Ghosts of the Past,” and will be held Friday, Nov. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Guests are invited to come to the Bruce dressed in their pajamas for the Night at the Museum event. The original Madagascar movie will be shown on the big screen in the museum’s Lecture Gallery, and crafts, a scavenger hunt, pizza and dessert will be offered. A silent auction and open beer and wine bar will be available.

This year, in addition to celebrating the Madagascar exhibition, the event has the added attraction of taking place while the museum will be showcasing the work of Danish sculptor Bjørn Okholm Skaarup.

Proceeds from the event will benefit children’s education and scholarship programs at the Bruce Museum. Tickets start at $85 per adult ($95 at the door), and $25 per child over age three ($35 at the door). Packages are also available and offer special benefits, such as complimentary Bruce Museum memberships and private tours of museum exhibitions and local private art collections.
