The Greenwich Academy College Counseling Office presents “Turning Down the Temperature: Debunking Common Misperceptions about the Road to College” on Monday, Nov. 9, from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. at Greenwich Library.
In this parent program, a panel of speakers will share observations about a number of aspects of the college guidance process: course selection, extracurricular activities, summer work, test preparation, athletic specialization, essays, and how colleges make their decisions. Along the way, they will address common misperceptions about the college search and help defuse what can be a charged process.
