On Saturday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. at Greenwich Library Cole Auditorium, travel the world with the Haven String Quartet as they share great music from as far away as Uganda, Cuba, and Bosnia – and from as close to home as Connecticut. Discover how Ugandan composer Justinian Tamusuza combines traditional African sounds with Western musical roots. Listen to Cuban saxophonist Paquito D’Rivera’s riveting composition “Wapango” and the pulse of its Latin undercurrents.

The family classical concert is free, but reservations are required at CuriosityConcerts.org. Please, only reserve if you are certain to attend. “No shows” will not be allowed to reserve for future concerts.

Curiosity Concerts is a series of free family concerts presented by professional musicians at different venues in the Greenwich. Concerts are 50 minutes long and are designed to inspire parents as well as their children of any age (but your child should be able to enjoy an hour of music).
