The Greenwich Senior Center presents B.Y.O.B.: “Build Your Own Back,” an innovative class that addresses back pain in a whole new way. This.
Facilitated by Certified Fitness Instructor Wendy Lee Rosa, B.Y.O.B. is a strength and stretch regime designed for individuals dealing with, or wanting to help prevent back issues. The class will take participants through a series of body weight, as well as resistant band exercises to improve posture and flexibility while strengthening areas of the core and back that are generally the weakest. Wendy will modify the moves for mat or chair in order to meet everyone’s needs Bring a mat if you wish to participate in the floor option. Balance, Tai Chi, and meditation are also included in the program.
The program takes place on Thursdays at 2:15 p.m. Class is free to Senior Center members.
