Fairfield County-based Patriot National Bancorp, Inc., the parent company of Patriot National Bank, announced on Monday the Bank’s name has officially been changed to “Patriot Bank, N.A.”
The change is part of the bank’s top to bottom rebranding to more accurately reflect Patriot’s enhanced focus on the local communities it serves. The Stamford headquartered bank maintains 10 branches located throughout Fairfield, New Haven and Westchester Counties. Its branch locations are in: Darien, Fairfield, Greenwich, Milford, Norwalk, Stamford, Trumbull and Westport in Connecticut and Bedford and Scarsdale in New York.
With the name change, the Bank is also unveiling a new look presence online with a new website, an enriched logo and remodeled branches. A new branch will be unveiled in Darien on October 7.
The unveiling of the new concept Darien banking center, located at 233 Post Road, is the first of Patriot’s modernized facilities featuring bright, ample open space and a community room with teleconferencing capabilities available for customer use. Digital signage in the lobby spotlights local non-profits, small businesses and community networking events.
“Patriot Bank’s new name better reflects what our customers and neighbors have depended upon since 1994—a trusted and involved community bank,” said Kenneth Neilson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Patriot Bancorp, Inc. and Patriot Bank, N.A. “Patriot Bank is a proven entity for serving the financial needs of customers, businesses, nonprofits and government sector in our communities.”
Patriot’s brand positioning goes beyond a new look, delivering on the promise of what it believes a community bank should be. Many Patriot bankers are residents of the communities the Bank serves, creating networking opportunities for local businesses and nonprofits, and providing faster, more flexible financing solutions.
Patriot Bank’s new identity comes at a time of strong earnings growth and momentum resulting from a sharp focus on its products and services in the communities the Bank serves.
