Blessing of Pets at Round Hill Community Church on Sunday

blessing-of-the-animals-fi

Each fall Round Hill Community Church dedicates a Sunday worship service to focus on God’s gifts of animals, to give thanks for their role in people’s lives.

On Sunday, Sept. 20, animals and people meet at 10 a.m. at the Round Hill Community House, 397 Round Hill Road, to the right of the church. All pets are welcome, and may be kept in carriers, cages, or on a leash during the service. Some people bring a picture or stuffed animal in memory of pets that have died. Special treats are available for four-legged animals as well as humans at the coffee hour after the service

All are welcome. Everyone is invited to come with or without a pet. Call 203-869-1091 or visit RoundHillCommunityChurch.org.
