The Connecticut Geriatric Society announced its new Board of Directors: Joan Garbow, Pat Connelly, Sharon Massafra, Carol Burns, Ilene Sumberg, Kerry Mills and Lise Jameson, the Executive Director of At Home in Greenwich, Inc.
Founded in 1997, the CT Geriatrics Society is affiliated with the American Geriatrics Society. Their mission is to improve the health, independence and quality of life of all older people.
The board meets at the Atria in Darien. The Connecticut Geriatrics Society convenes in Fairfield County, hosting speakers of relevant topics related to the field of geriatrics, and for professionals and organizations that serve the elderly population to share relevant issues.
