Edward Dadakis is a lifelong Greenwich resident who believes civic involvement is a leader in the Greenwich community.
He is a product of the Greenwich public school system, proud graduate of the University of Connecticut, with a B.A. in Economics, and a senior executive with AON Reinsurance. Edward has also had a lifelong passion for politics, Republican politics, focusing on fiscal responsibility.
He was one of the youngest members ever elected to the Greenwich Representative Town Meeting, which he continues to serve on today. He is the former Chairman of the Republican Party in Greenwich and currently represents Connecticut’s 36th Senatorial District in the Connecticut Republican State Central Committee.
Edward is a member of the board of the Excelerate foundation, a strong backer of many charities and non-profits in Greenwich including the Greenwich Council of Boy Scouts of America, TAG, the 9/11 Memorial in Greenwich, senior services and the Arch Street Teen Center. Ed is an avid boater on Long Island Sound and lives in Greenwich.
