Greenwich Reads Together Hosts Program on Censorship in Art

Greenwich Reads Together brings art history expert and museum educator Danielle Ogden to Greenwich Library on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. for a thought-provoking program on Uncovering Censorship and Identity in Art. The event is one of a host of discussions and activities happening this fall to engage the community in the major themes of this year’s Greenwich Reads Together book selection, Fahrenheit 451, a literary classic that presents a future American society where books are banned and firemen burn any that are found.  This program is presented in conjunction with the Flinn Gallery. read more...

Escape Room for Families Planned for Greenwich Reads Together

The Greenwich Library will host Escape Room: Code Crisis, an interactive code-breaking gaming experience on Saturday, November 3. Several 30-minute sessions will be held on the hour from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Children’s Constellation Room on the second floor. Community Invited to Vote for Greenwich Reads Together Title

Every year dozens of worthy titles are submitted by Greenwich residents for consideration for Greenwich Reads Together. Annually, the Greenwich Reads Together Selection Committee winnows the field down to roughly four exceptional books.
