Bruce J. Hadden, 90, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 19, 2019. Born on July 9, 1928 in Greenwich, CT and raised in Greenwich, CT, he graduated Greenwich High School Class of 1946.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Georgina Hadden with whom he shared 60 years of married life. He is survived by his daughter Gail Fredrick of Greenwich, his son Kevin B. Hadden, Sr. and his wife Anna Marie of Greenwich, also four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He worked for 40 years as an electrician for Local 501. He taught school after work for High Voltage Splicing for several years. In the 1970’s he worked on the construction of the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant in New York. He was well respected in his trade and also found time to teach others. He loved boating and fishing on Long Island Sound and most importantly his family. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Jan. 24 at 11 a.m. in Putnam Cemetery.
