The Greenwich High School softball team battled Wilton High School earlier today and were defeated 7-1.
Big Red netted its lone run in the third inning, while the Warriors plated two in the first inning, two more in the fifth inning and three more times in the seventh inning.
On the mound, Sophia Prieto finished with four strikeouts and five walks, while at the dish Julia Greco went 2-for-3, Dominique Gambino went 1-for-3 and Katelyn Burhans finished 1-for-2.
