Stamford Mineralogical Society's 28th Annual Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show Nov 5 & 6th @ The EGCC

The Stamford Mineralogical Society will hold it’s 28th Annual Annual Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show on Saturday November 5th 2016 (9:30am-5pm) and Sunday November 6th 2016 (10am-4:30pm) at The Eastern Greenwich Civic Center. This is a fun and educational event for the whole family, well worth a visit each year.
The show will feature a huge number of dealers selling unique and one-of-a-kind gifts for the holidays, including jewelry, crystals, minerals, gemstones, lapidary beads, carvings, fossils and much more. There will be hourly door prizes and a Mini-Mine for the children. We will also offer “Geo-Cracking”: see what’s inside… no one knows until it’s opened– feel lucky? The show is like going to a museum, and better than online shopping because you can view these treasures up close, and if you wish, purchase them.
A fun, educational event for the whole family, well worth a visit each year.

The club meets monthly at the EGCC, and meeting are open to the public, all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult). The next meeting is on November 15 2016, and the Nicholas McDonald will present “Window in to the Jurassic World,” a lecture on dinosaurs in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
