Greenwich Students to Perform at Pacific House Benefit

Pacific House will hold its 9th Annual Dessert and Chocolate Tasting Event on Friday, March 31 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich. In an example of young adults helping young adults, students from Brunswick School, Greenwich Academy, Greenwich Country Day and Sacred Heart Greenwich will perform in “To Each His Home,” a benefit concert that will help raise funds for the new Pacific House Young Adult program. read more...

GHS students are regional finalists in Google’s Science Fair

Two Greenwich High School students were named Regional Finalists in Google’s 2016 Global Science Fair. Rising junior Shobhita Sundaram and rising senior William Yin were selected from among thousands of global entries as two of the one hundred finalists from around the world. “The Google Science Fair is a global online science and engineering competition open to individuals and teams from ages 13 to 18,” according to googlesciencefair.com. Sixteen students will be selected as Global Finalists from among the Regional Finalists in early August. Bruce Museum to host Science Innovation Fair

Greenwich student scientists have excelled at state, national and even international science competitions in recent years. To support these efforts and provide an opportunity for the community to see some of this innovative work, the Bruce Museum is presenting the second annual “Phenomenon: Science Innovation Fair” on Friday, June 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. Twelve Greenwich High School students will present their science projects in a competitive presentation open to the public. The 2015 Google International Science Fair winner, Olivia Hallisey of Greenwich High School, will be the keynote speaker at the awards ceremony. read more...

Greenwich Non-Profits Team Up For Summer Enrichment Program

The Bruce Museum is collaborating with Greenwich Audubon and the Garden Education Center of Greenwich for a summer enrichment program for all students attending summer school at Cos Cob and Hamilton Avenue Schools.
