Blessing of the Animals at Round Hill

For more than 15 years, the Round Hill Community Church congregation has dedicated a Sunday worship service to focus on God’s gift of animals and to give thanks for the role that animals hold in our lives. This special service is typically observed on or near the Sunday closest to Oct. 4, the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals. It serves as a reminder of St. Francis’ love of nature and God’s desire for humans to be responsible stewards of their domestic pets and by extension the entire world. read more...

Book Talk with Tony Jones at Round Hill

Join Round Hill Community Church on Saturday, March 16 at 7 p.m., for a thought-provoking discussion with author and theologian, Dr. Tony Jones. Jones is a leading figure in the emerging church movement and postmodern Christianity. He is the author of the critically-acclaimed book titled, Did God Kill Jesus? Searching for Love in History’s Most Famous Execution, published in 2016. Following a talk about the message in his book, there will be a reception during which Jones will be available for book signings and further discussion. read more...
