Mental Health Housing — a Panel Discussion

For someone with a mental health condition, the basic necessity of a stable home can be hard to come by. NAMI Southwest CT (an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness) has assembled a panel of professionals who will discuss different types of housing and the varying degrees of independence and care they offer. The panel discussion, “Mental Health Housing,” will be held on Thursday, Feb. 20 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Tully Center Auditorium, 32 Strawberry Hill Court, Stamford. YWCA to Host Panel Discussion on Human Trafficking

On Wednesday, Jan. 16, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. YWCA Greenwich, 259 East Putnam Ave., will host a discussion about the fight to end human trafficking. A panel of experts will focus on the crime of labor trafficking. Thirty-five local non-profits and houses of worship have also signed on to partner with the YWCA in this effort to raise awareness and to provide consumers and business leaders with information on how their own actions can help to put an end labor trafficking. read more...

Public Forum on National Popular Vote Compact
