Impact FFC Hosts Impactful Conversation

Impact Fairfield County (Impact FFC) held the 3rd of its Impactful Conversation series on Feb. 4 at HAYVN in Darien to discuss Meaningful Philanthropy with a panel of 4 philanthropic leaders in our community. Impact FFC, now in its 5th year of grant giving, began Impactful Conversations a year ago as an opportunity for members to take a deeper dive into the issues they are affecting with their grant giving. Impact Fairfield County Announces Grant Opportunity

Impact Fairfield County announces a $100,000 grant opportunity. Grants will be awarded to non-profits for significant projects or programs that reach under-served populations and highlight unmet needs in our area. They seek applications proposing a new project or program or the significant expansion of a proven program that will have a lasting impact on the community. It is anticipated that Impact Fairfield County will award one to two grants of $100,000 each, determined by our membership on May 2. read more...

Impact Fairfield County Hosts Fall Kick-Off Meeting

Impact Fairfield County held its second annual Fall Kick-Off Meeting at the Greenwich Library Cole Auditorium on Oct. 19. More than 70 women attended the event and heard from two dynamic speakers: Jason Shaplen, CEO of Inspirica, inaugural $100,000 Impact Grant Winner, and Dr. Debra Mesch, Women’s Philanthropy Institute Director at Indiana University, Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Impact Fairfield County Kicks-Off First Grant Year

On Oct. 14, Impact Fairfield County held its Fall Meeting to kick-off its inaugural grant year at the Innis Arden Golf Club. More than 75 women attended the event to hear from speakers Wendy Steele, original founder of the Impact model, and Juanita James, CEO of Fairfield County’s Community Foundation. Both speakers discussed the need for this new women’s collective giving circle and the transformational change that Impact Fairfield County will have on the community.
